You know your in Spain when you read english and it doesn't even make sense

It's hard for me to believe that the first term is almost half way over. We have midterms on FRIDAY! So after class today we ate quickly in the park, came home and did our homework that required the internet then we went to our favorite cafeteria up the street to study. For our study break we decided to go shopping for practical things... such as a jacket since Emily lost hers... bandaids because... well if you're reading this, chances are you know how clumsy I am. So, on our way out of the cafe we ran into the pizza man who has already started to recognize us. He gave us besos (kisses on the cheek.) He introduced himself as Sigh-eat, yes that's the only way I can think of to spell it, remembering how to say it is hard enough! He is from Morocco and super sweet. Hopefully since he seems fond of us, we will be getting some free pizza in the future :)

On our shopping trip for a jacket and bandaids... we managed to not get a jacket for Emily but I somehow ended up with some earrings... maybe 3 different pairs, a necklace and some insane allergies. Yep my eyes are swollen and red. It's really, really cute. I'm not sure why they decided to rebel.

After dinner, which was similar to chili, we met some people at Retiro park for the book fair. This seriously went on for miles. I was a little overwhelmed by books. We stopped to get a drink (with ice) at a little cafe and watched part of the bullfight on the TV. I'm getting a little nervous about seeing it live on Friday. It's an art and a culture thing, so I might as well take part right?.... ehhh. On our way home we caught up with the crowd leaving the bullfight. The metro was beyond packed. There was no way we were getting on that train, but somehow we squeezed ourselves in there like sardines, which was really as disgusting as sardines. The body odor one those things, my word! BUT their was this cute, little Asian/Spanish baby on the metro who distracted me from the painful smell. Such a doll! His dad was the first person I've seen SMILE on the metro. It was a beautiful moment.

Well I've raided Emily's medicine cabinet she packed in her suitcase and got some allergy medicine. It's already helping! Thanks Em :)
